Playgroup Hotdog Social 4-26-08

Wow! What a wonderful turnout we had for our Hotdog Social! We had over 50 people there! I was more than a little unprepared and disorganized, but that's nothing new. I was glad everything fell into place and I hope everyone enjoyed it in the end. Thank you to everyone who brought food.
I plan to make this an anual thing. Only next year, we'll do it at the end of May as our final playgroup as a sort of grand finale. Also, the weather will hopefully be warmer. One thing I would and will do differently is get a group photo. Also, games for the kiddos. Next year will be even better!!I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell each and every one in playgroup how much I have enjoyed it. I have made some really great friends and so have my children. Thank you to everyone who helps make playgroup a success! You ladies are the best!! Enjoy the photos...

First on the scene were The Sargent's, the Berry's,
the Batchelder's, the Richardson's and the Carey's.

Neal Richardson, Glenn Berry and Colby Carey
discuss the weather...among other things.

Boys and their bubbles!

Melissa Richardson and Beverly Arnoldus get a
quick karate lesson from Brenna McMillen...

The Richardson family enjoy some fine dining.

I tried to catch Brenna feeding her face, but she
was too fast for me.

Kristy Batchelder (left) and Rachel Sargent got quiet
when I walked by...ever get the feeling someone's
talking about you?? hehe (I kid.)

The Hafer family: Brandon, Alexa and Jasmine,
McKenzie and Regina

Sarah Carey and Regina try to pass out food fast enough.
Always a challenge...

My husband, Travis, with Brooke and Adam Gilbert,
their daughter Gracie and our boys...musical babies anyone?

Rachel, Beverly and Kristy talk fashion and
shoes...maybe? Maybe not?

Casey Berry has baby fever...that itch will be
scratched soon enough!

Adam and Brooke Gilbert snuggle their little one, Gracie.
How sweet...

Shawndi Griffith came a little late with her two boys, but
we were just glad she made it!

Travis and I (Alicia) and our boys Devan & Dylan

Fun on the swings! Glenn Berry, Regina Hafer and
Colby Carey push the chillie's on the swings...

I think Casey and Stephanie (Caruthers) were
comparing bellies. Regina was apparently the judge...

Shawndi and her boys, Jesse and Ben

Playground time...

Bri made a new friend...I don't think
he was even with our group. hehe

Brandon spends some daddy daughter
time pushing McKenzie in the swing.

April 9th Playgroup

Well, even though I'm not in any of the pictures, I was there! I was the photographer. Sheila made a yummy chicken and rice soup. We visited and the kids played. The kids brought their lunches and had themselves a little carpet picnic. It was nice.

Carpet picnic: Regina Hafer brought her
kiddos. Twins, Alexa and Jazmine and
their little sister McKenzie and a little guy
she babysits. Bri joined in the picnic, too.

Rachel was there with Cara, Adam and

Renae. Sitting with my boys, Devan & Dylan.

Regina's girls liked Landon's Baby Einsteins movie.

Landon Clark, lookin' so cute. Runing around

in his Elmo pj's.

Meagan Ferguson (left) Sheila & Landon and

Dylan (I'm pretty sure.) Sheila made a wonderful

soup for us moms. Delicious!

April 3rd Playgroup

Well, even though there was a mix up because Sheila and I had to switch days, we had a great turn out for this playgroup. The kids ate lunch and then played with playdoh for a bit. The moms got to chat and I think everyone had a good time. I made chicken chowder for the moms. Hope everyone liked it. I know I enjoyed myself.

son Nathan, Bri & Katie Gossett's nurses. (Fore-
ground) Isabell Roof and our wall flowers are
Wendy Brazeal and Jennifer Rogers...

Meagan and Nathan, and these wallflowers are Carol Sparks
and Brooke Gilbert holding Gracie and talking to
her other daughter Isabella...(probably negotiating how
many more bites of lunch does she have to take, if she's
anything like my kids.)

Me, Jennifer, Casey and Wendy having a chat.

Carol, Brooke, Adam, Rachel with Renae and Me,
solving all the worlds problems... yes, we have all the answers.

Isabell Roof, Jacob Brazeal & Alex Hardiman having a
good time playing together...

Isabella & Bella are new friends. How
cute are they?

Bri, Cara and Isabella are old friends and they play
very well together...(most of the time) hehe

Kaletlyn Sparks, Rachel, Renae and Adam
Sargent chatting with Sheila Clark, holding
one of the twins. (Bad mom award for me, I don't know
which one. hehe)

Landon Clark playing sweetly by himself. What a
good boy...

Casey & Ben Berry getting
ready to leave. It was a Kodak moment!

Janette (Hardiman) getting her children Alex &
Bella ready to head home. (Jacob Brazeal in the
background) Bella looks like she's saying "I don't
know where my shoes are, mom?"
